How to Maintain a Motorcycle

My youngest brother is 20 years old, currently he is studying at Melacca. Due to long distance between the hostel and faculty building, he brought his favourite motorcycle from Penang to Melacca to ease the study journey.

My youngest brother asked me about how to maintain a motorcycle as he still need this motorcycle for 4 years studying at there. Well, i teached him few methods of mine..Hehe..

1. Check tire pressure and inspect the tires before every ride. Check the wheel bearings once a year.

2. Check the brake cables and operation before every ride to ensure the brake is in good fuctionality.

3. Always keep our bike clean so it's easier to spot missing parts likes bolts, nuts or cotter pins.

4. Add air pressure as needed as many blowouts are the result of low air pressure.

Safety of Motorcyclists in Heavy Traffic

There are always heavy traffic every Monday morning on Penang bridge. A lot of cars , lorries, buses and motorcyclists are going to cross this Penang bridge which is only have two lanes provided. So, of course all the vehicles will be stuck at the toll gate.

It is dangerous when i saw motorcyclists strive to be the first and fear to lag behind to cross the bridge. I would share some safety of motorcyclists when caught in heavy traffic for those motorists to draw their attention to prevent collision with motorcyclists.

1. For car driver, look through the back windows or windshields of cars in front of you, pass only in instances where it's legal and safe.

2. Stay out of other motorists' blind spots. Motorcyclists always need to assume they're invisible to everyone else.

3. When riding in heavy traffic on a highway, try to stay toward the center of the lane; this allows other traffic to see you more easily.

4.Try to refrain from weaving in and out of traffic, as drivers cannot predict where you're going to be next.

Choosing a correct Helmet

When i was on my way to office this morning, i found that there are a lot of motorcyclists wear "unfit" helmets and some of the helmets was old and loose. It is dangerous as loose-fitting helmet is just as dangerous as no helmet at all.

When we choose a helmet, there are few things we need to take into consideration such as..

1. Buy a bright color helmet such as red, white, yellow or orange and make sure it fits snugly all the way around.

2.While test fitting a new helmet, shake our head vigorously. If the helmet lags behind our head motion, then it doesn't fit properly.

3. Choose a helmet that are free of defects such as cracks, loose padding, frayed straps or exposed metal.

4. If you wear glasses, make sure that the helmet fit comfortably while wearing a helmet.

Preventing from MotorCycle Accidents

I watched a TV programme last night, and according to the research on accidents happened in Malaysia since Jan 07 till Dec 07, the percentage of the accidents caused by motorcycles has increased obviously. Many motorcyclist dint put the safety priorty while riding on road.

In fact, it is not difficult to prevent from motorcycle accidents if cyclists are always beware of several tips as below....

1. It is important to keep an adequate space cushion when following, being followed. Dont follow a vehicle in short distance.

2. Wear highly visible clothing and helmets such as white, yellow or shining shirt especially riding in night time.

3. Using the proper signals, brake light, and lane position before a turn is made.

4. Remain alert and be prepared to avoid a crash or speedy vehicles.

Car Fuse

I studied about functionality of fuse when i was in Form 5. Fuse will burn out if that amperage is exceeded. My friend was asking me what is the difference for car fuse? In fact all fuses have same functionality. Car fuses are safety devices that protect wiring and components from excessive damage if a short circuit or overload of amperage occurs.

In the process of replacing fuses with the same ampere rating as the dead fuse. A larger ampere rated fuse will not protect the circuit correctly and could cause further damage to the circuit and wiring. A fuse that is too low in amperage will fail if the current flow exceed its rating.

If you want to replace your car fuse, you may purchase spare fuses from any car accessories shop. Buy a few different sizes for spares. Some fuse panels have specific sockets in them for spare fuse storage.

Car Wheels Cleaning

Penang was raining this aternoon while i drove for lunch. When I park my car, i found that my car wheels were extremely dirty which "COVERED" by smut and dirt. I have no experience in cleaning car wheels, so i came across a car website regarding the method of cleaning car wheel effectively.

How to clean car wheels effectively? Here are few steps..

1.Use the highest pressure hose and spray off the excess dirt from our wheels and tires. Wash one tire at a time. It is because dried soap can leave spots on your tires and wheels.

2.Apply the soap and water mixture on a cloth and start removing the dirt buildup.Scrub the tire and the all the crevices on you hubcaps.

3. Finally, wash the rest of your car. Use a different sponge because dirt from tires can contain small bits of metal that will scratch the surface of you vehicle.

Prepare Of Selling Used Car

Yesterday my friend was asking me how to set the price to sell her car. She asked me again regarding how to prepare to sell a car so that she can sell out her car with higher price. I told her some of my opinions, and she said she will try it out..

In my opinion, there are few simple and basic things we need to prepare before selling our car. Firstly, wash our car ( if can, have snow car wash), and vacumn the interior of car and the carpets. if the carpets distressed, change it.

Secondly, dust the dash and the instrument panel. Vinyl conditioners do a good job of shining up dashboards and other vinyl interior parts. Then replace an air-refresher.

Lastly, wipe away any excess or spilled oil from the engine by opening the hood and top off all the fluids.

Selling a Used Car

When i reached office this morning, i received an offline instant message from my friend, who informed me that she would like to sell her car. And she has no idea how much should she sell out her car. Actually i never sold my car before, but there are some basic knowledges which i know about selling car, so i share with her and she greet thousand thanks to me..hehe..

First of all, we can refer to classifieds for similar cars. Then decide whether our preferred price is greatly above or below the market for that kind of car.Identify the top price and add a few hundred ringgit more ( this is to reserve for discount if customer ask for it) I am working as a sales so i know this basic tactic.

You can also Bump up the price less if the car is in bad condition, more if it's in good shape. This is an extra opinion to share with those who are interested to sell their used car.

Communications with Mechanics

Nowadays, communications are very important in our daily life. From family members to friends, from professional to intellectual. Anyway, it is important for us to communicate with car mechanics too esspecially when your car is going "wrong".

When we communcate with mechanic, try to tell the mechanic politely what the car is doing wrong but not what you think the problem is. Describe our car trouble as accurately as possible.

Besides, make an appointment whenever possible so that the shop's manager can assign the right person to the job.

Furthermore, its is important to ask questions so that we're sure what's being done to your car. Anyway, the asking skills must be in a polite and gently way. Some mechanics might charge the repairing fee expensively if we behave rudely.

Punctured Tire can be repaired by ourselves???

I went to shop for baby stuffs yesterday with my mother. While i was driving, my mother openned my ar drawer to have a look and she found a small plug and asked me what is that, so i explain to her, those are tires plugs. Due to my car tires punctured quite frequently, i bring some tire plugs in my car for spares.

You must be curious how i know to repair the punctured tires? It is pretty simple to repair the tires esspecially when you run out of time to a destination. First of all, if the puncture is less than 1/4 inch in diameter and only if the puncture is on the tire's tread.

Remove the punctured tire from rim. Clean the interior of your tire and lastly plug the tire. A mushroom shaped plug with the top inside the tire and the "stem" filling the area that was punctured.

Replacing New Side Mirrors

I've gone through a car magazine last week. There is a interesting article regarding DIY replacing car new side mirrors. Do you interested to know how to do that? Let me share with you ...

1. First of all, we need to disconnect the battery's negative cable to avoid electrocution.

2. Take off the interior door panel in order to remove the trim pieces. Then use the screwdriver to remove the screws.

3. Take out the mirror bolts with either a socket wrench to remove the entire mirror assembly.

4. Use a driver to extract the screws, and then pry the plastic tabs on the backing until the two pieces separate.

5. Put the new mirror, attached to the backing, into the mirror assembly.

Jack Up a Car

I went to visit my friend in Parit Buntar during Hari Raya Haji. When i was on my way to Parit Buntar, i found that my car tire was punctured. Luckily i was not alone at that time, as my husband accompanied me to Parit Buntar. Those shops all closed for public holiday, so we have to change the tires ourselves. But before we managed to change, we have to jack up our car, so how to jack up a car?

1. For safety issue, place a brick behind the wheel diagonally opposite one being jacked up. After that, place the jack under the car's frame nearest the wheel to be jacked up.

2. Secondly, insert the handle and ratchet the handle to make the jack rise.

3. Raise the jack high enough to replace a flat tire, and lastly, lower the jack when you're finished.

Anyway, it is better to jack up a car using a jack together with jack stands. But due to my car is only have jack, so we raise the jack without jack stands.

Buying new Tires?

Knowing the tires information and buying new tires is totally different issue for a car-user. Many peoples know the tires information but they dint know about how to buy a new and suit tires to our own car.

Firstly, to buy a new tires, we should consider few points as below..

1. We need to know our current tires. It is better to replace our tires with those of the same brand, design and size that are same with our current tires.

2. Buying from tire shops should also include free rotation and balancing while you purchase the tires.

3. It's important to rotate tires as manufacturers suggest as new cars are sensitive to mismatched tires.

Car Tire Info

I visited my friend after working yesterday. She told me that she is going to change the car tires as it is already reached the "duration" of changing :) I wonderred how she will know the infomation about her tires. She told me that she came across a car megazine which provided " how to know the car tires information", so i would like to share with you all here...

1. The manufacturer will put a sticker on the pillar post area of front doors which provides tire and vehicle load information.

2. The numbers indicated on side wall of the tire will give you some information to purchase appropriate replacement tires

Tires should always be changed in pairs at a time with same sizes and types to avoid adverse performance.

Voltage Measurement for Car Battery

One of my friend reading the articles that i posted in my blog, and asked me about how to determine our car battery is in good condition by measuring the voltage. I was no idea about this actually, therefore i get some advices from my mechanic friend.

So how to measure our car battery? Actually it is pretty easy and simple..Let me share with you and hope you will enjoy reading...

1. First of all, remove the ground (negative) wire and live ( positive) wire of the battery by using a wrench. It is important that you remove them from preventing you don't shock yourself while testing the battery and to insure that you don't accidentally short circuit the battery.

2. There are red and black wires at the voltmeter. Place the red wire to the positive (live) and black wire to the negative (ground) end of the battery.

3. If the voltmeter reads at least 12volts, your car battery has enough voltage to power the car. Else it is time for you to replace the battery with a new one.

After Remove, How to Replace a New Car Alternator?

After removing the alternator, let us learn on how to replace the new alternator.

1. Locate the new alternator into place and replace the bolts that held the previous alternator.

2.Attach the wires to the new alternator, adjust the tension of the belt and wrap the belt around the pulley of the new alternator.

3. If the belt is not put back properly, it will not be tight enough and the vehicle will malfunction.

4.Connect the negative battery wire back to the negative terminal on the battery.

5.Before driving the car, it is better to test the output of the new alternator using a voltmeter.

Remove Car Alternator

I am quite interesting in car recently, no matter it is from exterior to interior or from its accessories to maintainance. I have a friend who work as a mechanic told me some DIY car maintainance, which I can save a few dollars from sending to a car shop. I went to visit my friend today at his workshop. He was removing the car alternator while I visited him. Let me share with you how to remove alternator ourselves to save some labor costs : -

1.Turn off the car engine and wait for 20minutes for it to cool down. And disconnect the negative cable of the battery.( If you do not disconnect the negative battery cable, you may damage the vehicle electronics.)

2. Find the serpentine automatic belt tensioner by referring to the car's pulley and belt configuration diagram (if you don’t know) , turn the automatic belt tensioner by using a socket wrench, then slip the belt off the alternator pulley.

3.Lastly, disconnect all the mounting bolts and wires attached to the alternator, then remove the alternator from the car.

Prevent Windshield Cracks from SPREADING

I was in bad luck last year and this year. Do you know why? My car windshield cracked twice within this two years , and i spent more tham 1K for replacing these 2 pcs of new windsheild ( labour charge and windshield cost). It might be my car is always in solarization and the hot and suffocating air heat inside my car caused the windshield cracked.

I received an email regarding how to prevent windshield cracks from spreading. If i read this email earlier, i might need not to spend so much for my new windshield..Hehe..

1. If you notice a crack in your windshield, bring it to a repair shop as soon as possible. Often the crack cannot be fixed if it is over 30 days old.

2. A good can repair the crack and chipped area. The crack will remain visible but much less noticeable and the windshiled won't crack any further.

3. Another option is try to scroll down the side mirror a little bit under a sun rise ( avoid to scroll too wide, as your car might be stolen ) to avoid our car interior get overheated and thus spreading cracks happened.

Cool the Engine when it is overheated

A friend of mine went to Genting Highlands last week. On the way up to Genting, her husband car's engine was overheated and force them to stop at the side of road so wait for the enigne to cool down. I never thought of this problem before "How if a car engine overheated at the half way to Genting Highlands " ? How to cool the engine when it is overheated?

I asked my friend whose husband is a mechanic, and he shared some valuable opinion to me as below...

1. Turn off the engine and open the hood. Pour water on the outside of the radiator itself.

2. Take about 20minutes to wait for the engine to cool significantly before opening the tank to add coolant ,look at the coolant reservoir to check the coolant level.

3.if the level is below the low line, use a funnel to add coolant to the reservoir. You have to call a tow truck if a low coolant level is not the problem.

To Clean Car Battery Terminals

I was watching TV programmes last night while my husband was busy finding a baking soda. I asked him what he was going to do with the baking soda as the day is late already. He replied he need the baking soda to clean his car battery terminals. I was curious about what my husband said so i asked him to show me the way of cleaning.

1. First of all, he filled a cup with water until is 3/4 full and put in 5 table spoons of baking soda ( sodium bicarbonate) to the cup dissolved it.

2. Pour the mixed water over the battery terminals and let it work for about 15 seconds.

3.When it is done, pour some natural water on the battery to get all residues off.

It is pretty simple and it keeps our car battery from working at its best, and many times from working at all. You may try this at your own too.

Cleaning Car Windows Tint

I never know that there are some differences in cleaning car window with and without tinted until my friend informed me about this today. Maybe it is because i never tint my car windows so i do not have such knowledge.

If your car windows were tinted, how to clean it? Let me share with you..

1. According to my friend, we should be careful not to touch the window tint for the first 5 days and do not clean it for 30 days.

2. If the windows covered with dirt and dust, clean it using a soft cloth with soap or water, do not use a hard cloth or newspaper as it will scratch it.

3. Be careful when we load some items into car as it might caused the tinted windows nicked.

Adding Water to Car Battery

I went back to my Sungai Bakap house yesterday. I drove my parents to had Dim-Sum breakfast at Tasek. I went to petrol station to "feed" my car with petrol as it is almost empty. When i finished entering the petrol to my car, i started my car few times, but i failed. I tried and tried again until i gave up. So i enter the petrol customer service centre, and the officer came out to inspect my car battery. Oh no, i was informed that my car battery was out of order ( The main reason i cannoty started up my car is because my battery water was empty).I have to buy the new battery from the petrol which cost me RM175.

The officer informed to me examine the battery water one per month to prolong the life of battery. How to add water to the battery ? The office provide some guidelines to me as below...

1. First of all, do not smoke while adding the battery water. Clean the battery surface top before opening the inspection caps to avoid getting dirt and debris into the car battery.

2. Filling a car battery with only distilled water. But before that, remember to check the water level in each cell of the battery.

3. Do not over fill the water level as it can cause the leakage of acid water mixture.

Life for Car Tyre

i went to change my 2 pairs of my car tyres last Saturday ( actually the workshop assistant adviced me to change the tyre since two months ago, but i only change it last Saturday). It totally costed me RM550 ( after giving me 10% discount). Wow..So heartache as RM550 is quite big amount to me :(

So i asked the workshop assistant on how to extend the life of tyre to have smoother and safer driving. According to him, we need to check our tyre pressure at least monthly so that it is not over inflat.

Secondly, it is better to do tyre-balancing if there is a vibration in the steering wheel that occurs only at low speed and goes away if you drive faster. This vibration of course will caused the exhaustion of tyre depth.

Besides, it is good to have alignment checked on all our tyres @ 10,000 miles when tires are rotated to prevent it drifts in one direction when driving on a straight road.

When Car battery Light Goes On ~ How?

I went to take my car behind my office and planning to drove to Maxis Centre to pay my bill during lunch time hour today. When i started my car, i found that my car battery light goes on. I still can remember that once upon a time, my car battery light on and at last i cannot start my car.

So just now when i saw the light was on, i quickly off my radio and air-conditioning (Don't assume that the light is broken. It's possible, but unlikely. ). At the moment, we are not encouraged to turn the engine off and on. It is because starting car uses more of the battery's charge. After that, i drove to a mechanic to do an alternator output test.

How if the auto repair shop is not near to your location when your car battery goes on? First of all, look for the battery cable ends, clean it if it is full of powdery corrosion. Also, ensure the cable ends are tight and secure at both ends and the connections at the back of the alternator are secure.

Adding Windshield-Washer Fluid

Penang was having raining and sunny day for last few days. The changing of weather has caused my car covered with dusts. I wipe my windshield everyday before i am driving. I plan to check the windshield fluid level so that it will be in full supply all the days. But how to add windshield washer fluid?

Find the windshield-washer fluid reservoir which labeled with a symbol on the cap showing two spurts of water. the following that, check the fluid level and it is encouraged to add windshield-washer fluid using a funnel to avoid leakage. Finally, put the cap back on the reservoir.

Making offer on a Car

LastSunday i went to a shopping mall to visit a car exhibition. I saw a sales man promoted a Myvi car to a young lady, and what made me surprised was the young lady dint bargain to the salesman and pay the deposit straightforward to him. Wow..Maybe she is rich enough, but in the point of view, i felt that she has less experience in bargaining.

How to make an offer to a car? I wish to share with you who knows you might need it one day when dealing with car-seller..

1. We have to do some surveys about the price of car we wish to buy before negotiations. Stay firm with the final price you are willing to pay and if the car-seller disagree, we just walked away.

2. Make a lower offer that you are willing to pay but of course, allow the seller to counteroffer for it.

3.We can also take into account for extras services such as free maintainance for 1 year, tinted windows and etc.

4. Inform the seller that you might consider and will call him after you make decision. This will definitely makes the seller offers a price close to what you have in mind.

Inspect a Used car Before buying ~ Part 2

Besides inspecting exterior and interior of the car, the most important way to determine the condition of the car is test-drive. When we test-drive a car, the first part to test is check the brakes. If the brake are in good condition, it should bring the car to a stop in a sufficiently short distance and shoudn't be any grinding sounds.

Furthermore, do send the car for mechanic for a "prepurchase inspecting" . It is because mechanic would be able to check for the malfunctional parts that we cannot inspect from outside. Mechanic would diagnosis the malfunctional parts through a faulty code with more details. As a pre-buyer, we have the rights to ask the seller for all the services and repair records of the used car.

Inspect a Used car Before buying ~ Part 1

I have a colleague who sold out his Toyota Corolla SE Limited on March. Then he purchased a used Toyota Altis in May. After he drove Altis for two months, the problem " appeared". Therefore he sent the car to mechanic( few mechanic shops) to examine and repaire, but the problems still dint solve. Finally he sold out the Altis, and now purchased Toyota Camry. He learned a leasson from buying Altis, as he dint really test drive and examine it before buying.

Here, i have few opinions to share with you about what / how to inspect before buying a USED car...

1. Look at the car's exterior such as bumpers, wheels and unseen area as normally the exterior often distract from larger problems such as underlying rust.

2.Look for inconsistencies for both sides of the cars as they may be clues to previous wrecks.

3. Besides,we need to check the interior for tears in upholstery, ensure the air conditioning, sunroof, power steering, air bags are in good functionality.

Finding of CHEAPEST Car Insurance, HOW ?~~

I was talking about how to buy the car insurance for new car, but certain people still looking around for cheapest car insurances to cut-off their budget. I have a friend who work as agent for car insurance gave me some tips on how to get a cheapest car insurance for our cars esspecially used cars for few years.

1. Search online / Yellow pages to obtain quotation from insurances companies. Most of the insurance companies have their own website with various kind of policies. Collect the informations about the premiums for the services and risk covered by the companies.

2. It is better to purchase / re-new our car insurance policy a year up front. It is because the insurance company typically gives us a better rate if we pay for a extended period up front.

3. We can also obtain further discounts such as NCB if we have a "clean" history ( no accideent / claimable record)

4. Always keep in touch with the agent for latest informations as some companies will provide some further discounts to their affiliated members.

Insurance for New Car

A friend of mine just bought a new car last month. He was asking me which insurance company is good for new car as there are quite many insurance companies in Malaysia such as Kurnia, MAA, Longpac, UniAsia and so on...

I told him that every insurance company has their own goods. Its only depends on how you choose for your car insurance. So how to buy car insurance for new car?

1. It depends on what type of car you buy. If you buy a mid-size family car, the insurance premiums may decrease if compare to you buy a sport car. If your purchased car contains of airbags, anti-theft devices, anti-lock brakes and daytime running lights, you will obtain some discounts on your new car insurance.

2. Furthermore, it is better to get an latest update on your current car insurance by calling your agent with the details of the new car you purchased.

3. We also have to ensure that we have enough bodily injury liability to cover our personal assets by determine what the bodily injury liability limits are on our new car insurance.

Maintain Car Alarm

I was talking about how to choose a right car alarm system yesterday, and now i realise that it is not enough to have the right car alarm system without "take care" of it. Am i right?

But how to maintain a car alarm? I went to a car accessories shop last night after finish working. The workshop assistant told me that it is pretty simple to maintain car alarm..I would like to share the basic knowledges with you as below :-

1. As we know, car alarm could function well if battery is in good condition. Therefore, we need ensure that car's battery contacts are clean and terminals are free of corrosion.

2. Examine the car alarm components under the hood periodically.

3. Lubricate the pinswitches of the hood and doors periodically to avoid from malfunctioning.

4. Avoid water from the outdoors as it can affect the life of the siren.

Choose the Right Car Alarm System for your Car?

My friend attended a birthday party at Bandar Sunway,Butterworth yesterday. After finish the dinner ,he paced up and down at the backstreet but he still could not find his car. All of the sudden, he has a bad presage in his mind that his car might be stolen, so he went to the police station nearby to report to the police.

I still remembered that my manager's car is being stolen at Bandar Sunway last year after he attending a dinner. Once i heard the news from my friend, the first thing that jumpped into my mind is they might not install the right car alarm system for their car.

To choose the right car alarm system that suit to our car, off course the most important is our budget. Do research online, through friends, at local auto shops and with the local police. These resources will help us from wasting money.

Besides, we should consider security features to make the audio system or cabin more theft-proof. It is better to install motion sensors that keep our alarm functional even without a roof over it. If affordable, we can add a theft-tracker which will help us to get car back and catch the thieves if it has stolen.

Save Gas Fuel of Our Car

We are facing various type of increment nowsdays. From flour to vegetables, from car petrol to gas fuel, increment has made our life turn into strict budgeting. We can choose not to eat mee or vegetables to avoid over budget, but we could not escape from spending in petrol and gas fuel as we need car to travel from a place to a place such as work.

Recently i was practicing some method to save gas fuel and i found that it is efficient. I would like to share with you here..

1. Change engine oil or auto oil and service our engine at car maintainance shop accordingly

2. Drive at the speed limit! Dont over speed and always keep tires inflated at the proper level.

3. Dont brake in a sudden and easy on the gas when accelerating.

4. Many people like to "throw" everything into the car, so it is good to remove unnecessary items from your car.

Tire Blowout? Handle it !

There are many cases of accidents happened in Malaysia esspecially during celebration of certain festivals. Some are because of the carelessness of drivers, some are because of drunk driver, and some are because of tire blowout and brake faulty.

Once tire blowout, try to hold our steeling in a straight course. Slowly let up off the gas pedal to gradually decrease the speed. Remember do not stop quickly after a blowout as it will increase the chances of losing control. After that, turn on signal and drift toward the side of the road slowly and park your car and turn on its hazard lights to alert passing traffic. If we do change the tire, it is better to have a passenger to keep a close watch on traffic to provide us some protection so that the passing traffic would aware of our extra warning and reduce tragedy from happening.

Start a Car But Car Battery is Low

My family and I went to my cousin's wedding dinner last Saturday. After finishing the dinner, my husband and I went to the car park to drive our car. When we reached the car park, there is a girl who was trying to start her car but failed. Without any delay, my husband and I walked towards to her car to give a hand.

We found that her car battery was low, therefore she could not start the car. Luckily we always have the jumper cables in our car, so my husband drove our car near to her car, and attached jumper cables from our car battery to the girl's car.

After that, my husband started our car and let it run with the cables attached to her car for about five minutes. Then the girl attemptted to start her car and finally her car can be started through the connectivity from our car.

She appreciated and kept saying thousand thank to us. I learned to start a car if battery is low this time, but the most important is we need to have the jumper cables in order to attach the connectivity from other car's battery.

Car Insurance

A friend of mine contacted me last weekend regarding the car insurance. Her car's insurance is going to be expired and she would like to renew it with affordable value.

I asked her if her car ever involved in accidents as this is the main issue to determine the budget. If her car is "free" from accident record, then she will be waived for the NCB deduction ( the NCB amount is quite big if compare to non-NCB deduction)

In my opinion, to get an affordable insurance, we need to drive safely in every moment. It is because our driving history is the number one factor insurance companies use when calculating an insurance quote. Besides, buying car insurance online to cutting out the middleman will help us to save extra money. The last thing that we need to take in consideration is to buy minimum coverage , minimum liability coverage according to our car's market value, it will definitely save our more money than carrying a large, full coverage policy.

Maintain New Car

My friend just bought a new Myvi car last month. She is very good in "taking care" of her car. She wore the seat with beautiful seater cloths and keep the interior of car tidyly and neatly.

I told her that the most important things to maintain a car is not maintain from internally. There should be smart in maintaining as below...

1. Avoid hard or frequent starts and stops

2. Check oil and coolant frequently

3. The oil should be changed at 1000 miles. Then begin the 5000 mile schedule.

4. Change fuel filter approximately once a year to prolong the life of fuel pump

Car Smell~~Bye Bye

I drived my parents to night market last Saturday. My parents started complaining my car smelly since they entered. I dint realize that my car is smelly all the way as i sent my car to car wash monthly or quarterlly.

Since my parents complained about this issue, i started to "kill" the smell last Sunday at home. Oh my godness, i found that my floor mats was soiled with some stain liquip. I went to a car accessories shop to buy a heavy-duty auto-upholstery cleaner. After that, i applied the digester to the affected area with a sponge, and openned all the windows to let the spot air gone.

After that, i burned a stick of incense to refresh my car interior and placed a small bottle of sesame oil on the dashboard of car. The foul smell was gone within an hour.

Haha..I think i need to check my car mats and seat always to prevent the offensive odor " visit" my car again..

How to clean tire rims?

I think most of the driver among us will face the same problem in how to clean our car tire rims esspecially after we passing by mud pit / morass and our tire rims caked with crud.

I came across a small tips of Rims cleaning from newspaper, just want to share it with you..

1. First and foremost, spray brake cleaner on the worst part of your rims.

2. After that, allow cleaner to sit for a minute or so.

3. Finally, scrub the area and your rims will be perfect and shiny.

Car Wash

I went to a car wash centre to wash my car. There are few packages of car wash at the shop, and i chose the cheapest one which is RM10 ( car wash body + vacuum inside the car). My car finished washing and vacuuming in only 20 minutes. Wow..what a amazing car wash!!

First of all, they rinsed my car with the car soap water in the shade, and started washing from the roof then worked the way around my car and rinse the panels too. After that, one of the man took the nozzle off the hose and with the free flowing water rinse the entire car and he wiped off the water on my car with cotton cloth. While another man vacuumed my car inside and applied metal cleaner on my wheels rims, and within 20minutes, they told me to make payment for the car washing.

Wow..So fast the car washing. 20 minutes per car wash for RM10 ..they are able to earn few hundred in a day easily. Am I right?

Pensonic Slow Cooker

I went to Tesco Extra ( formly known as Macro) last thursday after working to buy a slow cooker. i chose a smallest size of slow cooker, and there is only a smallest Pensonic slow cooker costed RM63.90. Due to urgency, i bought it without doing survey to other shopping centre.

I went to Sunshine Shopping Complex to have my lunch just now, and i walked around for a window shopping after the meal. I went to the electrical department to take a look on the items. When i came across the the slow cooker, i found that the Pensonic smallest slow cooker ( exactly 100% same with what i bought at Tesco Extra) is only costed RM60.90. Wow...The price at Sunshine is RM3.00 cheaper than Tesco Extra. I feel so heartache when seeing this, maybe RM3.00 is a small amount to you, but it is extremely a big amount to me ( as i am poor ma ) ...I tell myself that i will not buy any electrical products at Tesco Extra again in future. It is really expensive to me.

Frustrated with Someone?

I was free this afternoon so my mum and i paid a visit to my aunty's house. When i reached there, my mum busy chatting with aunty as they have not been seeing each other for quite long time. Without discturbing them, i went to my cousin's room to have a chat with her. I saw her pressing the pc keyboard non-stop, so i walk in front to check whar she was doing with the pc.

She was stricking to a "person" named Jenny through a website "Beat Small Man" She told me that if you have frustrated to someone, you may enter the name in the text box, and follow the intrustions given to strick him/her.

I found that this is interesting esspecially for those to let off. Just to share this with you all, you may play with it when you angry / moody / frustrating.

Chocalate Cheese Cake at Coffee Bean

I went to Coffee Bean yesterday after working hour ( it is because i miss chocalate cheese cake there very much ). After i entering Coffee Bean, " Welcome, good afternoon", all this basic greetings came to me from a waiter. So i started looking at the cheese cakes row by row inside the glass rack. I noticed that my favourite chocalate cheese cake was not there, so i checked with the waiter, and he came back to me that the chocalate cheese was no longer in production ( discountinued) and now it is replaced by cappuccino cheese cake.

Finally i ordered the cappuccino cheese cake and i found that this cappuccino cheese cake is actually not as delicious as chocalate cheese cake that i tried before. There is something missing in the cappuccino cheese cake. I still can recall the sweet smell of chocalate chesse cake i've taken long time ago..Hehe..( because it's toooooo deliciousssss)

~Lapland~

Lapland, did you ever heard about this place? I never heard it before, and i get to know this place from a korean movie " Snow Queen"..It is located at the north of Scandinavia and is recognised as the home of Santa Claus and one of the most unique concepts in travel is to arrange a tour to this Arctic Region to meet him personally during the month of December.

In this drama, the female actress dreamed to go to Lapland as there is an snow queen live together with her lover. Unfortunately the female actress was unable to visit there as she is dead because of cancer. Finally the male actress ( her lover) went to Lapland on behalf of her to pursue her love and dreams. This drama contains diferent types of sentimental songs that really touching from deepest heart. I am now busy downloading the drama and wish to keep it for my own to watch again in future..

Everyone has their own dream places, i have mine too..so how about you?

CNY 2008

I received a 2008 calendar this morning from Plant&Mill Motion Control Sdn Bhd . The calendar is pretty nice. The first thing i get the calendar, i checked for the Chinese New Year date 2008. The CNY date falls on 7-Feb-08 ( thursday), which is 2 weeks earlier than my give-birth date. Haha... I am so excited when i get to know about this..It is because accoring to my check-up doctor, it is possible to deliver a baby in 2 weeks times earlier. If my baby rush to "come out" to this world 2 weeks earlier to celebrate CNY, then i have no chance to enjoy my CNY ( have grand grand meal and gambling)...Hehe..Hoping that my baby will "come out" on time, which is 20-Feb-07 so that the mummy can enjoy the CNY first..

Tyre Puncture ~ Careless girl

I went to a factory yesterday morning to pay a visit to customer. Due to the car park was full, so i parked my car outside the factory which is near to a renovating building besides the factory.

After visiting the customer, i went to office continuing my work. After finish working at about 6.30pm, i went to take my car and drove back from Penang island to Butterworth. I dint realized that my tyre was punctured while i was driving. When my sister-in-law came to my house, she found that one of my car's tyre punctured. It sticked in my an thick iron wire. From the marks of the tyre, it showed that it was punctured before i left island. I was curious, as i parked my car behind my office, and the ground is clean and tidy as the cleaning squad is cleaning the car park everyday.

Finally i realized that my car punctured when i parked my car besides the renovating building when i visited a customer as the compound there was full with wires and nails. I blamed myself a careless girl as i never check my tyres before i move my car. If i did that, i will drive back from Penang to Butterworth with a puncture tyre, as it is dangerous due to the balancing.

Private & Confidential

My coursemate join a core blood company. It is a store blood company for future usage when needed. I asked my coursemate to deliver the brochures and booklets to my office as i was seldom at home. There is a courier man sent a document to my office. My office clerk sign and chop for the courier to receive the document. She opened the document, and read the booklets. She passed the document to me after reading.

When she passing it to me, i was curious , why the document was opened? So i asked her : Has the document already been opened since the courier man delivered?" ..Who knows she told me that she opened my document. Then i asked her how can she open my document without informing me? She answered :"next time ask your friend stated ( private & confidential) lor, then i will not open "....

I was angry when she answered unpolitely to me. She never feel sorry by opening my documents and she still behaved innocently after making mistake. I really cannot condone her words like blamming my friend did not indicate " pricevate & confidential" on the document.

We should respect people's privacy as this is a basic manner in our daily life. It is good to say sorry if we are wrong or hurt someone's feeling. I hope she will understand this one day.

Increase 70Cents / Litter?

I dint read newspapers for last few days due to busy preparing my reports. I started to review all the past newspapers yesterday. There is an annoucement that petrol will be increased about 70Cents per litter next year ??!!!

Wow, this is a big increment. Currently the price is RM1.92 per litter, let say increase 70Cents, it will become RM2.62 per litter..Perhaps this is fake news, else i would consider to go to work by bus next year. It is a burden to young migrants as traffic is heavy at Penang bridge during finish working hours. Once jamming, petrol meter drop very obviously.

A funny friend and Salesman

I went to visit my friend who is going to give birth end of this month. While we chat and chat, a man press the door bell, so my friend went to have a look. Being for safety purpose, my friend dint open the door and just talking to the salesman in between the window with iron grating besides the door.

The salesman insist to come in, but my friend dint allow him. So the salesman started to introduce his sales products. My friend did not interest in the products, but the salesman still continuing promoting. Then my friend ask him " what is your name", the salesman answered. My friend continued " what is our company and where is it", the salesman answered. Then my friend asked the salesman to spell his name and his company name. He followed what my friend has requested. At last my friend asked his house contact number, but the salesman only give my friend his office number, then my friend told him that : why you dont want to give your house phone number? you dont want a stranger to disturb you , right?" , the salesman smiled. Then my friend said " same to me, i already told you that i do not interest in your products, i hope you dont disturb me too"..

After that, the salesman left. I told my friend that it is really an effective way she drove away a salesman / stranger. I could take it as an experience to drive away a stranger in future.

Friend & Family Day at Adventist

I went to Adventist Hospital for pregnancy monthly check-up this morning. When i finish the checking and going to leave, there is a attractive brochure, stated " Friends and Family Day" drawed my attention, so i took the brochure and jsut want to share with you all here.

The program will be held on 25-nov-07, at Adventist Hospital Penang. There are various type of tests which is free of charge. An ince-cream and balloon will be given to each small children.

I felt that this program is very meaningful, it is because nowadays, there are a lot of parents that busy working and neglect their children, or friends that seldom to meet each other, this is the chance to gather to share the joy and happiness of life.

THE MALAYSIAN DILEMMA

I received an email from my colleague just now with subject " The Malaysian Dilemma".. Below are the pharases :-

Get Vietnamese workers, dogs missing.
Get Bangladeshi workers, Malay girls missing.
Get Indonesian workers, money missing.
Get Indian workers, jewellery missing.
Get Chinese workers, husbands missing.

The last phrases drawed my attention the most. "Get chinese workers, husbands missing" -- It's not girls' fault but husbands should have high staunchness and willpower to overcome seducements from outside. A " weak" staunchness husband definitely will think of others, even not get chinese worker to work with us !!

This is my thinking and opinions, do you agree with me ?

KariHome Goat Milk Powder

Malaysia was having public holiday yesterday for celebrating Depavalli ( Indian New Year). I was nothing to do so i went to a kids shop. This milk is a product from New Zealand and it has been documented i nChinese Medical Encylopedia that it is good for lung, stomack & intestine to babies. Anyway, i was never heard about this goat milk before, and my friends around me who pregnanted before never told me about goat milk , so i dare not to try it lor.. The malay girl told me it is RM2.00. Wah, so expensive lah, only one egg = 3 lices of cucumber cost me RM2.00..So heartache to pay and to eat the nasi lemak. If it is include a sausage , then different story lor. The malay girl thought i might be come from a rich family, and take the opportunity to " kill" my wallet. I told myself that i will never buy nasi lemak from this stall anymore.

Snow Queen

Recently 8TV showing a Korean drama titled " Snow Queen". I watched this drama since 1st episope. I am the kind of seldom watching Korean movie, but this drama really inviting and interesting that make me addicted to it every night at 8.30pm.

As usual, i was watching the drama last night, the story last night was talking about the female star broke with her boy-friend after she found that she fall in love with the male star. The male star actually love her too, but due to he accidentally caused the death of her's brother, so the male star hide his love feeling towards the girl, and hurt her by some cruel words. I was sad when watching this. It's really to forget the past ( her brother's death), anyway, we have to look forwards but not stepped backward. We have to appreciate whatever we have now, care about the person who care about us. We have to be honest to ourselves and feeling.

I am very looking forwards to tonight's showing. Hoping that both of them can become a lovely couple start from tonight..

~Fortune-Teller~ Is that True?

I brought my mum to temple for praying last Saturday. There are crowded at the temple as it is the birthday of the GuanYin. I prayed to Guan Yin and earnestly hope that SHE will bring healthy, wisdom and Smoothness to me all the way. After praying, my mum went to the washroom so i waited for my mum outside the temple.

There is a fortune-teller stall outside the temple. Being curiousity, i walked towards the stall and stay near it, i heard the fortune-teller told a old woman that if she want to win 4D betting, have to pray to "Na To Gong" , and there are few things / food cannot prayed which is coconut, candle and bananas.. Also, according to the fortune-teller, it's need to pray to "Na To Gong" at either 12 o'clock in the afternoon or 6 o'clock in the evening.

I am curious, is that true? Well, for me, it's more realistic if we work hard ourselves to earn a better life instead of playing 4D and looking for fortune-teller..

Education Website for Children

I called my friend and wish to meet her for coffee due to we've never been seeing each other for quite long time. I went to the coffee house earlier than meeting time, so i ordered some drink and snack while waiting for my friend to come. My friend told me that his son score in his examination.

I wondered because as i know, she never send her son for tuition, and my friend is a career-woman who only has free time at night. . So, i asked my friend how her son can score all the subjects as it's not easy to score with only teaching lessons provided in school. My friend told me that , she joined as member in a website called ScoreA , and her son will complete the practice exercise from the website according to the standard level. My friend will examine the answer one by one every night and give explanation to the wrong answer done by her son. Since that, her son improves a lot and succeed to score all the subjects.

Well, i came acrossed the website just now, and found that it's really a good and excellent website for children. It contains pass year questions, questions by Topics, notes that ease the understanding to children. Have a look if you are interested and let me know, i could explain more about that to you.

Now its the turn for Milk Powder Price increase

I remembered that last two weeks, i had my lunch as fried mee, and the price has increased 20 cents per plate. I was going for my lunch at a hawker centre today which near to Sunshine Shopping Complex. I went to the complex after lunch as my colleague has something to buy. I am aware that milk podwer price is going to increase beginning of Nov, but i am not sure how many percentage it takes for the increment.

I went to the milk powder dept to have a look for the old price before it increase. Wow, i remebered Anmum ( for Pregnant Woman) milk podwer was $ 36 dollars since last week, but the price tag of the milk powder, it is now $39.90, which is almost 10% increased from the old price. It is really a big increment esspecially for the family with few small children to be feed.

Flour price increased, now milk powder price increased, i am not sure anything else is going to increase soon..but one thing i am sure is the working salary is not increase..Haha...

THANKS UNCLE LIM

One of my colleague will treat us a quite big meal, i was curious what had caused this colleague to spend this lunch. He told me that he won 4D last night because of generousity of Uncle Lim. Then i asked him Uncle Lim passed away, how he helped you?

He told me that due to Uncle Lim death, and last week, Magnum4D first prize is 3909 , this is the aged of Uncle Lim, he dint get the winning number as he dint bet for this. And since last week, my colleague started to bet Genting group telephone number which is the last 4 digit is 1118. Due to 1118 is a "hot" digit for illegal Betting Centre, and its not allowed to buy anymore, so my colleague decided to buy the reversed digit which is 8111.

There is first prize with digit 8111 in PMP Betting Centre and my colleague won about RM5000. Wow...Its quite a attractive amount that he won...He was so talented, as for me, i will not think about this digit and buy reversed. Anyway, thanks for the lunch.

Increased 20cents

My colleagues and I went out for lunch together at a hawker centre nearby. I ordered a plate of fried mee and when I finished the meal, I go to pay for it. I was shocked when the man told me that it cost RM 3.00. I remembered that it is only RM2.80 since last week, so I asked the man, why increased the price to RM3.00? The man said that the price of mee podwer was increased since last week.

It is really unreasonable. The podwer of mee increased 20 cents per kg, but the hawker increased 20 cents per plate. Let say if 1kg of podwer produced 5 plate of mee, then the hawker increased 1 dollar totally . Its really unbelievable the hawker make money like this nowadays.

I think I will start taking bread or biscuits from tomorrow onwards..Hahaha…

Rest-In-Peace, Uncle Lim

I was free and nothing to do in the office just now, so i came across The Star and knowing that Genting founder, Mr Lim Goh Tong, passed away this morning at 11.20am at Subang Jaya Medical Centre. Mr Lim, one of my most respect person in this world. I still remembered that Mr Lim has just celebrated his 90-years old birthday April 2007 with his family.

Mr Lim, is the founder of Genting Group in 1965. He migrated from China with uncle and work very very hard in Malaysia to earn for ordinary life. With his unyielding and innovation willpower, he has expanded from initial hotel- Genting Resort, to Plantation-Asiatic, to paper Production- Genting Sanyen and so on...

He has a lot of good examples that we should learning from him. Well, Rest-In-Peace, Uncle Lim.

A Sad News

I was reading a online newspaper, www.chinapress.com.my last night before i left my office. I was sad to read a news that, there is a couple from Sarawak, commit suicide in a house. Two little couple who are only 18 years old, wearing read shirt, tied the hand with red rope, and take poison together at home when all of the family members were went out.

I am not sure what had caused them to make this decision, but i strongly believed that they have been struggling for long time before they choose this " road". The person who get more pain and sorrow definitely are their parents who took care of them and love them since young. Why this little couple just "go away" without thinking of the others that concern about them and love them?

Durian

Malaysia is having durian season now. All my family members are durian lovers,so we went to a Malay village to buy durians from my father's friends. As you know, durian is "King of the Fruits" in Malaysia. It contains much of vitamins and glucose that good to us. Durians can be produced into cake, ice-cream, bun, jelly and so on.

When we arrived the village, my father's friend open 3 pcs of durians for us, mmmm....taste nice, delicious!! The smell really The meat of the durians full with yellow-orrange colours, so attractive and inviting.

We finished all the 3 pcs durians, and my father bought about 100 dollars durians from his friends. Our car is full with the smell of durians , but we went home happily.

Hot Market

My colleague told me that there is a 50% sales for all items in Hot Market at BJ Shopping Complex. It cannot be denied that i am actually a super-shopper esppecially for sales items, so i went to Hot Market during lunch time just now.

Wow, when i stepped in Hot Market, its full with 50% sales board at every corner. From stationary to souvenir, from clothes to hair accessories, from decorations to bowls, all are 50% discount.

I told myself that i can only spend 30 dollars there, so i started to look at my favourite items. Finally i bought 2 small bottles of nails painting, 3 pairs of ear rings, 2 colourful travelling cap, a piece of pink hairpin, 3 pcs of baby napkin, 2 bunch of decorated flowers, one box of classic tea set, 3 pack of tissue papers. i spent about two hours there, and lastly, all items costed me 65 dollars which is out of my budget.

Anyway, even its 35 dollars out of my budget, i still paid for it as the goods are actually cost 130 dollars if i buy them in normal day with no discounts.

Cholesterol

Last Sunday, I went Sungai Petani to visit my uncle who migrated to Australia, came back to Malaysia for new weeks. We knew that previously my uncle had a high cholesterol around 7.5 LDL, and his cholesterol has decreased and now is in safe / normal level which is 5.++ LDL . We were curious, since its not easy to control the cholesterol in our body due to there are a lot of fry and oily food nowadays and we take them frequently in our daily life.

My uncle told us that he still take fry food, and there is a method to avoid l the cholesterol from increasing. 1. Firstly chop the garlic and mix the garlic in a pot of hot chinese tea.
2 Steep the chppoed garlic into the pot for 10- 15 minutes
3. Por the tea into a cup and drink

My uncle drink the tea every morning before he take breakfast and water. After three months, he took a medical check-up at Australia, and the doctor informed him that his cholesterol LDL has dereased to 5.3.
Now, he is still taking fry and oily food, and the cholesterol in under control.

For those who has high cholesterol, its no harm to try this out.

RM12 charged for withdrawal

My secondary schoolmates called me to have a small gathering last night. So i went to meet them as i have nothing to do at home. When i reached there, there are few friends already ordered for drink and some junk food and i ordered a blended creamy Latte. We chit-chat for about more than an hour. Before we left, one of my friend make payment to the cafe with total cost RM 115.00.
All of us back home ourselves and my friend who treat us for the meal ,asked me to accompany her to withdraw some money from a nearby bank. When we reached the SC bank with the ATM without MEPS, my friend started withdrawed the money and checked balance of the saving. She found that she was charged RM 12 for the withdrawal.
We were shocked of the charge, as we are aware that we will be charged RM1 for each interbank MEPS ATM, but we just realised that if we did withdrawal using MEPS ATM card from SC Bank ATM machine, we will be charged RM12.
The reason is because its a Non-MEPS ATM

Important to Maintain a relationship

Nowadays, there is different kind of relationship among people and people, some are friends, couples, family, colleagues and so on..A good and warm relationship will make us live happilly and peacefully.

How to maintain a good relationship? Basically for all relationships, trust and tolerant are very important. If we have too much suspicious towards friends, couple, family, it is definitely will make our relationship worse. Among family, we should share our happiness and sorrowness with parents as they are the person that closest to us. But when we are not at home, friends are the one who can help us and borrow us the shoulder when we sad. Therefore, in a true and sincere relationship, we should treat everyone sincerely and truly from heart but not "good in front, scold at behind"..

1200 Steps to Cheng Ji Chan Temple

Last Saturday midnight, i followed a temple commitee to go to Cheng Ji Chan Temple at Penang. Cheng Ji Chan is a temple for Nine Emperors. It was my second times to hike this slanting mountain and staircases.

We travelled at 11.30pm from Permatang Tinggi and we arrived at the foot of the hill around 12.30am Sunday. We start our journey to Cheng Ji Chan. The day was dark and staricases were wet as it was raining all the day on Saturday, so we step carefully in order to avoid slipping down. Its a quite tiring gasping journey as we need to take 1200 steps to reach the peak of mountain. And after 2 hours, we managed to arrive the peak of the mountain which has few temples..Wow, the air there was refreshing and breathtaking, its is really a attractive places with twinkle lights of the temples. We started to pray, and take a short rest there while waiting for others to finished praying.

We went down the mountain around 3.30am in the morning. Unfortunately, one of the commitee falled down due to the slippery staircases, luckily its was just a small injured with blood. Due to the slippery, all of us are paying more attention to step down slowly and carefully. When i reached home, its already 7am in the morning, i took a refreshing bath, and go for bed and rest. It was my second times to go to Cheng Ji Chan. I wish i could go again next year.

Its Malay NEw Year, we have few days holidays due to celebrating the festival. My coursemates from KL were come to visit me in Penang. There are many special and unique architecture historical places in Penang. I brought my coursemates to some famous places such as Kek Lok See Temple , Nyammar Temple, Penang Hill, Komtar and etc.

While visitng, we try some delicious food too as Penang famus with the traditional and spicy food such a Laksa, Rojak, Bak Kut Teh, Har Mee, Green Fish and others..My friends who was taking laksa, drink few glasses of juice due to the spicy taste. Her face turns red an eyes with tears, while for the Bak Kut Teh, its food that made of traditional Hebal and pork. Its realy delicious if you take it with sambal.

We ordered a plate of Rojak , the Rojak is mixture of a lot of fruits such as mango, cucumber, bean curd, pineapples. All the fruit are cut into small pieces and stir with spicy saurce. One of my friend ordered Har Mee, with three big prawns, few slices of pork, egg and etc. Its a really enjoyable and unforgettable food trip in Penang.

Let's guess how much the pink and purple dress? the pink dress cost RM385, while the purple dress cost RM450..Its nearly RM1000 for both,at last i buy the pink dress..Haha..Because its cheaper..

Poor friend and her daughter

Last Sunday, i called my friend, Jane to shop together at Gurney Plaza as there is a big sales at Parkson. Jane told me that she has no mood to shop, i wonder why as Jane is a super-shopper..Well, Jane told me a case that happened to her daughter, Lina..

According to Jane, she had a bad experience in the Jln Bagan Jermal (opp Indian temple, beside Eden cake) Hope clinic. A Dr. Chew (senior dr) saw Lina and told us that her lips area ligament was torn, and have to apply some cream & must take anti-biotic. The very same Sunday night after taking her medicine & applied cream, she cried later and vomited. And the remaining of the night, she cried for few hours until slept. The next Monday morning, she had no voice. Jane took her to Adventist on Mon to check up again. Showed the new Dr the medicine prescribed by Dr Chew. The Adventist Dr said the anti-biotic given was very strong (not for children) and was to treat for kidney, and side effect was vomiting. And the lip cream was a steroid based. Both prescriptions were WRONG. And this Dr Chew charged RM80 for it.

Later Jane found out that the doctors in this Clinic has a commission for every medicine they prescribed. Really cant imagine that such Dr is really no ethic, He merely making profit rather than treating Lina..

Mid-Autmun Festival

In Malaysia, chinese people celebrate mid-autumn festival during chinese calendar, 15-Aug...Among this day, people will play tang-lung, take moon-cake , have some tea while enjoying chit chat with family, friends..

Laksa~~My Favourite

I believe most of the will like to eat laksa, and there is different tpye of laksa in Malaysia such as asam laksa, kari laksa, laksa Terengganu, Thai laksa and so on...

Well, asam laksa is my favourite among all this laksas..I have tried many asam laksa at stalls within penang..Some i tried in Bukit Mertajam, some at Penang Road, some at Nibong Tebal, some at butterworth...the most i prefer is from my hometown , Jawi..The laksa stall is located in front of a Tua Pek Kong Temple. Its a small small stall but you can always see that it is crowded..

The laksa there is not as sour as asam laksa in penang island..Its abit sweet and sour..And after you take laksa, you can take cendol, wow...its really enjoyable after you take spicy laksa and then follow with cool and cold cendol esspecially in a hot day.. :)
